Crispy Bacon Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 450 g (1 lb) macaroni

  • 4 slices bacon, cut into strips

  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) breadcrumbs

  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper

  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk

  • 1 package of 400g Mr. Gustav cheese fondue

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the broil oven.

Step 2

In a saucepan, bring salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni according to package directions.

Step 3

Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until golden brown and crispy.

Step 4

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add breadcrumbs and parsley. Stir well and season to taste.

Step 5

Drain the pasta and return it to the pan, add the milk and the contents of the fondue bag.

Step 6

Heat over medium heat, until the pasta is well coated with the cheese sauce. Season to taste.

Step 7

Transfer to a baking dish and cover with the bacon breadcrumbs.

Step 8

Bake in the oven and enjoy.
